Since I could not find a decent quality template for this, I made my own: https://feddit.org/pictrs/image/140229bd-a85b-4b5e-bcf7-2547bd35ca66.webp

In the strictest sense that will never happen, since PieFed is a functional replacement for Lemmy.
However, in the broadest sense it is very much on the way, since it implements the same ActivityPub protocol that Lemmy uses. So e.g. you replied to me from lemm.ee, a Lemmy instance, and I am now replying to you from piefed.social, a PieFed one.
It would be up to the app vendors if they, like Thunder, will add PieFed support to their software. Which should get easier after this first one?
I always imagine a better world, where ActivityPub c2s was actually good, and had support from most platforms.
If we build it, they will come…
And Andrew already built it for Thunder, so yeah, it’s happening!:-P
