And the rest of the world is signing on for it. We’ve had enough of “Muricans” giving orders. Let’s all take these arrogant bastards down

Trump’s actions will create a power vacuum that will benefit the worlds biggest players, especially China.

But smaller players may also have a chance to jump a few rungs on the influence ladder. Could Canada be one of those nations?

Most people are afraid of how tariffs will tank the global economy (which they will) but there may be a small window of oppurtunity here too.

It is happen in small ways already. A food supplier here could not sell Silk (US brand) beverage product. They had so much aging stock they had to donate to non-profits and food banks. We all just need to stick to the boycotts even if is uncomfortable.

There’s already dumb motherfuckers with “us flag / 51st” stickers on their pickup trucks driving around BC. Saw one a few hours ago. Gotta take care of that shit too

I have no problem with taking the arrogant bastards down, but that’s not all the people in the US.

What I really want to see is A Bug’s Life come to life, with the American people finally rising up and burying their oligarch overlords.

I’d be willing to assist them in that just like France did last time.

Thank you, kind sibling. This rift is the most frustrating diplomatic choice I’ve ever seen America make. I hope we can make it right and grow closer someday.

Make no mistake: there are still others in this world who care about you, as a people. Your leaders are not on that list: they do not care about you. That much has been made evident for a long time. Even more importantly, the billionaires who call the tune your leaders dance to definitely do not care about you. Change cannot be exerted externally: it must come from within.

I’d love to see it happen, I will support it in any way I can.

Until such time as it does happen, as long as they continue milling about uselessly expecting maga to start following the laws any minute now and doing nothing else significant to obstruct it… Fuck em, they’re paying the taxes and powering the machine that is trying to destroy us.

That’s an interesting one… I wonder how many people are seeing the chaos at social services and the IRS this year and just deciding not to pay taxes?

Voting is only ONE of the ways to affect government.

You bring up a good point, but I’m not sure enough Americans are ready or aware, or desperate enough, yet, that civil disobedience is a thing. I hope they progress to using it very soon.

Bananas in ICE vehicle tailpipes. Not paying taxes. Jamming ICE ‘snitch’ phone numbers with spurious reports … that sort of thing.

If you’re talking about a full scale invasion. You will likely find yourself in an Iraq style conflict. Foreign forces in your country are rarely seen as liberators. Especially if for the majority of citizens life hasn’t deteriorated to a point like Paris 1943

Exactly, and Canadians will be supporting one another and spotting for military, while US troops rely on a supply line. Many Americans think we don’t have guns here. That will be a surprise for them.

“Inspire” might be a better word. They’re not all stupid, you know. Indoctrination doesn’t care how smart you are. They get you young enough, beat the drum steady for long enough, smart people can be convinced of very stupid things.

Lets get in their face. No more false humility. Let’s show them that, imperfect and broken as we are, we know a better way to do some of this stuff. Follow our lead, make your country a better place.

Fuck us up. I wish we could stop him ourselves but systems that can’t self-correct must be recreated by a higher consciousness
