There are also recent examples of books like To Kill A Mockingbird being pulled out of high school ciricula due to antiquated attitudes towards race being depicted. I think these should have been kept and preserved as an example of outdated societal attitudes instead of being repressed.

That doesn’t exist. Though, luckily, in countries like Australia, it’s universal enough to put outspoken Nazis in prison.
I’ll take that over whatever the fuck is going on the the US.

We don’t operate under a framework where everything needs to be 100% defined, else prosecuting/legislating would become unreasonably cumbersome to the point where it’d be so easy to find loopholes.
