Any homemade card is more thoughtful than a purchased one. So I don’t think it matters if you are a good artist or not. It’s a thoughtful message and you created it yourself.

“Bad” I can’t say, you took no risk, and thus made no mistakes, but also displayed little skills.

Using triangles for the bodies is a good idea, as triangles are a good shape, you can do anything with triangles. Have you consider increasing the amount of triangle, as such?

    two triangles bodies more triangles

    yet more triangles

I dropped the round heads in the last one, because honestly, circles are an overrated shape. And you can do anything in triangles, why use anything else?

You can find any number of foolish ressources online, none of them tells you the truth about triangles. All sorts of websites and yet more websites try to teach you how to draw, without even mentioning triangles in any of their tutorials.

I like it on a kind of way.

Makes me think, which is good.

It feels simple. Not mean “look simple” but feel simple.

No idea if that’s good or not.

Overall, yes, you are a good artist. Just because. I didn’t do it but you did, so you a much better artist than me.

If all your art looks like the single image provided, then the honest answer would be yes, unfortunately. That said, one image with minimal content isn’t much to go off, and as with any skill, this will change over time, esspecially with practice. Notably, this also looks like something dedicated to a loved one, so at that point intent matters more than artistic skill anyway.

    I-

I don’t get it. What’s 24? And why is the first dialogue on the right, considering English is a left to right reading language?

And no, I don’t think you’re a bad artist. No one’s a bad artist. Everyone has their own way of expressing and drawing.

      I’m turning 24

Also, the first dialogue is on the right because that’s who’s speaking. Considering I draw everyone of the same gender identically, I should’ve reversed the speech.

Height matters too. You can have text on the right be “first” but it needs to be obviously higher on the page.
