I generally agree, but in this specific case, the meme is a vehicle with which to mock his boot licking lies

It’s a clearly photoshopped hypothetical scenario illustrating how much of a lickspittle he is, IE that he’d defend and deny authoritarianism even while actively being victimized by it himself.
Nobody here feels sorry for the fascist mouthpiece Crowder or would if he was ACTUALLY arrested. Nor should they.
This is clearly mocking him, not promoting him.
I probably like Ted Cruz more than most of my fellow senators do. And I HATE Ted Cruz.

I guess it was shot in the US? 🤷
Actually makes it better for once IMO, since it demonstrates how he’d just keep on lying as the truth is being made painfully obvious…
A rare inversion of Betteridge’s law of headlines is “whenever someone questions whether or not the rich and powerful are exploiting everyone, the answer is yes”
Reminds me of probably the most pretentious thing I ever did: as a teenager in the late 90s, I tried to learn Russian in order to read Tolstoy and Dostoyevsky in the original 😆
Luigi, drowning in Polaroid nudes:
Hits ≠ good or interesting music. Kid Rock has had hits too.

By any honest definition, really.
I was in a ska band called Cheesy Broccoli Soup Fart. We were terrible.
You aren’t going to convince me that you know what you are talking about by making less accurate claims
I guess that IS you in the photo. Guess there’s no point wasting any more time and attention since you’re just going to hold on to your original misconceptions and add new ones every time I elaborate to clarify.
none of your examples have anything to do with neoliberalism.
On the contrary, every single one is highly typical of contemporary American style liberalism AKA Neoliberalism. I can explain it for you, but I can’t understand it for you.
You shouldn’t talk authoritatively about a subject you clearly have no background in.
This you?
neoliberalism is just the modern version of classical
economicssocially acceptable exploitation that is data focused and thus much more effective. Which is worse.
Fixed it for you.
It’s not the boogeyman people make it out to be.
No, it’s much worse than most people think.
California’s leadership pretending to be progressive while protecting PG&E from any consequences of constantly causing or exacerbating wildfires and fighting tooth and nail against a ballot initiative outlawing carceral slavery? That’s Neoliberalism.
Pretending that you’re on the side of the oppressed while not only making excuses for an apartheid regime, but actively participating in its genocide? Very Neoliberal.
Saying that the only way to combat systemic police violence is to throw more money at cops? Neoliberalism.
Not only negotiating with fascists, but starting with unacceptable concessions and then moving Right from there? One of the most Neoliberal things ever.
Losing two of the three most winnable presidential elections since WWII if not earlier (only barely scraping a win in the other one) due in large part to not listening to poor people while fascists with more effective messaging at least PRETENDED to and then blaming the voters for not showing up? THE most Neoliberal thing ever.
Beating COVID would have mean actually taking it seriously, maybe eradicting it, atleast having the vast majority of people vaccinate, mask and properly ventilate.
By all of those metrics, save for total eradication of course, Europe largely DID beat covid, or rather the most critical phase of it, unlike the US.
Last I checked, covid infections are below pre-covid flu infections in most of Europe, as is seasonal flu. Again, unlike the US.
If anything we’re worse than the start of the pandemic now
The entire world is, due mainly to the by now worldwide resurgence of fascism.
A third of europe believes in anti-vaccine conspiracies.
See above.
Neither do you 🤷
