I thought this was for stat distributions at first, which would be annoying, but at least somewhat understandable. But this actually seems to be just cosmetic re-rolling, which is just absurd.

I get it if a developer doesn’t want it to be free to reroll a character’s appearance. But don’t charge them money for it, just make them do a quest or something. God damn.

My apartment will fine me if I don’t bring the trash cans back inside before 9PM, so I gotta be alive for that.

Social anxiety is not at all uncommon. Therapy would only really be beneficial if the anxiety was causing problems in a person’s life. It could be that the person you replied to may need to lie down after a phone call, and is then fully functional afterward. Unless they’re bothered by this process or it somehow impedes upon their day-to-day life, it otherwise would seem like they already have their recovery mechanisms figured out and are doing well for themself. They’re playing the hand they were dealt, and they’re still in the game.

Chris is a pretty interesting fellow, and he’s got a finger on the pulse of social media. I used to be in a few group chats with him way back in the Digg era, and he’s always had an interest in the future of internet platforms. He’s been a big advocate for federated platforms; I believe he was in charge of the flagship CalcKey instance before it rebranded.

If only there was some way to have prevented this.

I feel like this will work out about as well as “GMO-free” labels on food.
