Yes. I’d draw special attention to military personnel and federal workers who all swore an oath to defend the constitution from all threats foreign and domestic; and folks in the military in particular having the training and resources to carry out a mission like that.

I ask others to do things I can’t do myself all the time - that’s how specializations work. If I could save the US by setting up for a surgery, then fuck yeah, I’m on it! …but somehow I don’t think my skillset is going to be of much use here, so I’m relying someone else with the means to get the job done. Same as if I need my tooth drilled or car fixed or something - I can’t do those either, but that’s not going to stop me from asking someone who can when my tooth hurts or car stops working.
