US President Donald Trump ramped up his claims to Greenland on Wednesday, saying ahead of a visit by Vice President JD Vance that the United States needed to take control of the Danish island for “international security.”

Russia, with a GDP the size of the Benelux, hasn’t even been able to conquer Ukraine, and I have to believe they’d be able to take on the European Union?

Meanwhile, the US, the world’s largest economy, has military bases all over the EU, the EU militaries by and large depend on the US and they are openly threatening us.

    Which is more dangerous?

Russia. Because Russia is actually trying and the US hasn’t done anything military aggressive and I don’t have a reason to believe that they will.

The US hasn’t done anything militarily aggressive yet. There is every reason to believe this will change, considering they are openly threatening as much (Trump saying he wants to take Greenland, still part of Denmark, by force if necessary).
