idk - there should be some very clear cancer statistics to back up such a claim between countries like Sweden (<1% gas stoves, all are electric) vs other countries then.

One of the proof points would be how the existence of Doom on x86 was the perhaps single most influential factor in the demise of non-x86 home computers (Atari ST, Amiga). We (myself included) just sold off what we had to get PCs.

Alright, read up on it a bit more. Sadly the language choices (C++ now, maybe Swift later) rubs me the wrong way for something that needs to be incredibly secure against attacks. I really really support additional browser engines, but likely not this one.
Thus I think Servo is a better choice for those looking to contribute. IMHO.
