Oh man, if they have a cross as a wearable, this is GOTY
Whether I can understand someone or not, I still think it’s really cool! That kind of real-time voice changing is amazing – it would require not just tone shifts, but actually changing the speech sounds, which are really complex.
I very much appreciate how many different interpretations of the “vibes” you’re talking about. Some people are probably on the same page as you, but think different things are responsible for it.
Others are probably not understanding what you mean, but are trying to guess at what you mean.
I don’t really know which part of the music is left based on your description. The vibes hardly come from the lyrics at all for me – it’s all about the melodies/tunes and harmonies. Chords and stuff. Rhythms and timing. Keys. Tempo.
But I’m not sure what’s left that gives you personally “vibes”, especially since the “vibes” seem to come primarily from the lyrics to you, whereas the lyrics barely contribute to the vibes at all for me.
The actual efficiency would be UBI, but of course that’s never going to be on his agenda
If it works, that’s actually pretty cool tech!
I guess “obviously Elon Musk would never go for a guy like me” would be the wrong answer
The game needs to be modded to make Jesus and his cross the main character
As a kid, I thought mile, inch, and ton were all fake units of measurement that didn’t have any actual distance attached. Just used metaphorically.
Then there’s cup, ounce, and pint, which I thought were just words for containers that have an approximate size. Yard and foot to a lesser extent. Acre must’ve been a plot of land of indeterminate size.
Getting into cooking, I’m hating that teaspoon and tablespoon are a thing (along with a pinch and a dash). They don’t even seem to line up at all with my tablespoons or teaspoons…I need to own special spoons that are labeled “tablespoon” and “teaspoon”, otherwise the measurements will be wrong!
And given the unit conversions of all this junk, I’m not convinced my former understanding is much worse than reality.
Where do you draw the line for the rich fucks of the world? Realistic CGI? Realistic drawings? Edited photos?
Yeah, I say designed, but it’s not in the “something planned it” sense. We ended up this way because of a series of random chances that just sorta’ worked in allowing us to live long enough to have more successful offspring.
Most mammals (if not most animals) breathe through their noses.
People complaining about humans being designed poorly don’t know that this design “flaw” is what allows us to be able to speak.
Yes, this increases our risk of dying by choking. But despite that, being able to speak has been so evolutionarily advantageous that our increased risk of dying is inconsequential in the grand scheme of things.
I’m generally in support of this. The car allows for more freedom in certain conditions, though:
I upvoted for the history.
I don’t understand why things haven’t progressed since the 50s though now that we have proper measurements… especially the ones that don’t need fractions! Haha
