3 days agoNot surprising. Known commodity with improvements plus people have been waiting for ES6 for ages. Also there aren’t a ton of big open world adventure games being released right now that gives the same kind of experience. People want escapism and games like ES and Baldurs Gate are great for that.
That’s fair. I bought it because it is the one I played the least and wanted to try and actually beat the story. I’m still in the intro and just picked up my first gear but in that small time frame my assessment is the text is unpolished with grammatical errors, the character creator is still clunky, and their smart animation for dialog needs work. I seriously think this is all just a tech demo for the engineers to get used to the unholy union of unreal and gamebryo so they can use the experience in the work for ES6. I’ll still play this though but I’ll be critical of it the whole way lol
