Yeah, I have to agree. MS has always been a software company with a hardware habit. And Phil finally spent enough that MS had to take notice. Now, he’s scrambling to make a ROI for that purchase and he’s doing the SEGA playbook.
This was a support branch, only had a handful of people actually working on it, and was in one of the most expensive states during a time where most multinational companies are looking to divest from the United States due to our current political turmoil. The main dev team is based on China, and are still working on it.
I’ll have to let my wife know. She loved those games.
