Huh I haven’t bumped into those communities
On some level I’d like there to be an actual conservative sub since I like to check in on the Reddit alternative’s goings on and what their takes on this or that is. But I can understand why some wouldn’t want to share a platform with those people. Some of the stuff is pretty bad
Omissa syötteissä uutisia varten sitten Reuters, Yle, BBC, AfterDawn, The Register, Länsiväylä, Helsingin Uutiset, Rakennuslehti, TorrentFreak. Sitten myös monta mielenkiintoista blogia ja erilaisia muita syötteitä joita tykkään seurailla.
Doesn’t the 2FA protect users still, if they only got the password?
Until exporting and syncing keys is properly implemented, passkeys can go kick rocks.
A lot of the stuff that has implemented passkeys so far are on mobile. And I mean the apps serving them out, not things you authenticate to.
It feels like everyone is trying to tie people to their platform. Oh, and also use the opportunity to force shit like “no custom ROMs or bootloader unlocking” on Android at the same time.

We like to see it - fire, heat.
Exact reason why I built a fire in my kitchen. Gives that camping feeling
I still want them to rename the slower rolling version of Tumbleweed to “Stumbleweed”. It’s clearly the best name!
What works
Encryption - Yes
GUI - Yes
What does not
SMB & Network replication does not always work, may require SMB network patch.

Some Font rendering issues.
What was not tested

Uh oh. And giving it “platinum” even though some stuff doesn’t work and basic features weren’t tested is bullshit. I demand a retraction!
It’s just to WineHQ’s AppDb, it just describes how well stuff works with Wine. It’s similar to the newer ProtonDB. Someone tested the WannaCry/WannaCrypt malware with Wine for the hell of it.
I’ve turned off voicemail for the last 15 years. I just don’t see any use for it when everyone has a device capable of sending messages now.
Voicemails used to be very common some decades ago. I think nowadays pretty much everyone just sends a message after the call if they need to leave a message
Generals Zero Hour too, damn that game was the tits

I would’ve expected the discussion to argue over whether it is true or not. Now it just seemed like stepping to other topic, but with a funny self-aware phrase.
Well I thought it was funny at least. Nothing really to add to your debate though.
Not a great track record with them all counted. But same is true for Lucas
I don’t really engage often with them, I’m just interested in hearing how they view stuff, how it differs from me, how they reconcile this and that and so on.
