I said in another comment yesterday that Amazon is the most affordable option in my high COL area and provides the most variety. Especially groceries when I don’t have time to go grocery shopping. Not to mention, I get 5% cash back on my Amazon credit card. With inflation how it is, I’m not giving it up, and I do not feel bad for it.
Pretty sure there’s a boycott going on at Target right now, and Walmart is probably the worst of the 3.
What tariffs are Canada imposing on the U.S. that is not retaliatory?
I can’t tell if this is sarcasm.
Edit: it’s not.
This was the reason I switched to Lemmy. Still transitioning, but hopefully the community grows on here.
This is not fully accurate. They do have 30 days to figure this out.
I’ve lived in 5 different regions of the country. I definitely feel like I’m an ‘American’
It would be far too much of a compliment to the Republicans if we compared them to the nazis. They are basically their younger sibling that got dropped on their head as an infant.
I’ve got a desk job. I need to stand up a lot. More than other people. I also lift, do martial arts, and some other physical activity. There was a point in my life where I would exercise for every hour I spent working. A couple months ago, I went 5 days without exercise because of a surgery and I was losing it. So yah, I know where you’re coming from.
it takes days to get medicine and then an hour or more wait at the store to actually get a pharmacist to hand it to you.
Where do you live? I live(d) in the largest metros in the U.S, and have used 5 different CVS pharmacies. Only one was kind of iffy, and it was right by a major state university. The one I currently go to gets the meds the next or even same day, and I rarely wait. Even the busier ones at peak times, I never waited more than 30 minutes.
Europe, Oceania, and Canada should also be doing this.
Fair point. I just wish they hit more red states.
Except 2/3 of those states voted blue.
CVS and Walgreens are everywhere. I’ve lived in several cities and always see them. CVS is also in Targets. I use them. Very good pharmacy. I don’t think they’re going anywhere anytime soon.
What about the non-Israeli hostages?
Not at the moment. Seems pretty similar to Reddit except for a smaller user base and community-controlled. Going to take some adjusting that the subs I used to spend all of my time on have almost no members.
Thanks.
Many private schools actually do give full rides to students whose families make under a certain threshold. Still insane tuition, but not as bad as one might think.
