  • votes are earned

That’s only half the equation. Yes, a party is responsible for advertising themselves and their accomplishments. The other half of the equation is the populace being responsible adults, which is NOT the case with a LARGE swath of Americans. It’s American’s responsibility to inform themselves about a party’s voting history and criminal conviction history. To be aware of the status of the economy under each party, historically. It’s literally impossible for a party to thoroughly educate every last voter.

We still have Dem lawmakers on fucking TWITTER.

I don’t like it, but realistically it’s probably for exposure. Particularly to independent voters. It’s still a very large platform and if they leave, then it’s 100% a racist Nazi shithole instead of just 95%.

    They lost on social media

It’s hard to compete against hate, fear, racism, and general misinformation. Truth can’t win on the internet until companies are actually held accountable for the damage their platforms cause due to their inability to moderate misinformation. This is one of the primary reasons I believe the future to be a dark one.

Gaslighting the public that the economy is good

All metrics indicate the economy was recovering under Democrat leadership. Clearly that takes time. I agree that they could have advertised that better, but again, it’s partially up to Americans to be aware of these metrics. It’s their civic duty.

Look, Democrats can do better. No doubt. But the bottom line is Americans chose the BLATANTLY worse option. As in, we may never see such a blatant, obvious election ever again in our lives. That’s on Americans and their inability to take their civic duty seriously.
