Lol! You also can’t have access to any other form of dental care. And since most employers offer a bare minimum of coverage, that eliminates nearly everyone who is currently employed.

Dental care that only a fraction of the population even qualify for? Meanwhile the rest of us are still dependent on our employers to provide us with private insurance that covers less and less every year.
I’m old enough to remember when the NDP was Canada’s workers party. They barely even pay that legacy lip-service now.
The NDP has basically become indistinguishable from the Liberal party. And if there really isn’t any difference between them, then why would people keep voting for the one least likely to win? It’s redundant.
This is the way. I just love the “fuck you, Danielle!” energy.
The city officials who don’t want those bike lanes removed, were elected, though. And this judge sided with them, so…it sounds like Ford is just upset at being overruled in favor of the local government.
A statement from the ministry of health earlier this week said that Adam Kai-Ji Lo, the man alleged to have driven an SUV through a crowd of festival goers, had “no indication of violence” in his presentation to his Vancouver Coastal Health team.
But of course, Vancouver’s idiot mayor had this to say…
Speaking to reporters Wednesday, Sim said he was “sick and tired” of inquiries into a recurring pattern of people in a mental health crisis becoming involved in violent incidents. “We need to urgently roll out mandatory care for people in severe crises who pose a risk to themselves and to others, and we need meaningful bail reform, so repeat offenders aren’t cycled back into our communities without proper support or supervision,” he said.
So, in other words…his “solution” wouldn’t have done jack shit to prevent this tragedy from happening.
That’s what Elmo bought it for.
My 6 year old daughter is less gullible than Trump.
I think what people cling to regarding the Constitution, is not that it protects democracy, but that it’s intended to protect the public from authoritarian rule. It was written explicitly in response to the dictatorial behavior of King George lll.
The whole “democracy” part was always intended to be flawed, in favor of the wealthy landowners that wrote it…but the protections provided by it, were meant to prevent any future leader from ever threatening their personal freedoms.
It’s really too bad they never hard-coded the steps necessary to actually prevent a dictator from taking power, though. That sure would have been useful right about now.
That’s not his decision.
He’s not wrong though. Americans are considered generally lazy and rather entitled. If you hire 10 people, odds are at least one of those people is going to cause you some kind of drama or unwanted inefficiency.
Definitely not enthusiastic about the idea of cutting funding to healthcare, given the fact that it’s already woefully underfunded.
I have absolutely no idea why so many people still support these clowns.
Conservatives need to go outside more often.
Are those slightly charred beets?
To be fair…the status quo is better than fascism.
Is this his latest effort to convince us he’s not like Trump?
I don’t think they understand how strategic voting works, then. If they have a candidate that has a reasonable chance to beat the Conservative candidate…then strategically speaking, they should be the go-to pick for anyone not voting Conservative.
They should be promoting this. It should keep all of their current incumbents in their seats, and maybe even win a few more in contested ridings.
Technically, there are no laws against this in Canada.
