The fact that they need to call it “normal pickup things” is very telling.

How do you do, fellow pickup truck drivers?

shit load securing, good luck everyone behind! I want to play big strong truck man

vanity trucks are so dumb. we bought a truck when we got our house because we live in a less populated area that’s hard to get to and we had to do a decent amount of renovations. we found a 25 year old dodge with low miles for 3k. Runs fine, super easy to work on. It’s the smaller truck they made but still has the 8ft bed. They stopped doing the 8ft bed altogether after 2000 on the small truck. Even for big trucks like ram and f150 the 8ft bed is a special order thing since ages ago, you generally won’t see them on lots and used they can command a decent price because they’re pretty uncommon

It’s so fucking stupid that stupid assholes made the most impractical vehicle part of their ego and as a result made it overall worse. Like I can just load a 4x8 sheet in my bed and close the gate dipshit. I also spent an entire house less than you. Still has carplay too thanks to a $30 cheapass head unit from aliexpress. Also mines not associated with white nationalism and when we finish our renovation we can probably sell it for a small profit or at least what we paid, unless we spend like 5 years doing work. Even if we don’t, 23ish days of renting home depot trucks and we come out ahead (except not really because insurance and maintenance but you get the point). I didn’t pay the price of a condo in a low cost of living area for the fucking thing

Whats next? A pallet of styrofoam insulation?

He waited so long for this piece of shit and only bought one ratchet strap in the meantime.

I doubt your Subi can fit a 4’x8’ sheet of plywood flat. Most trucks just don’t have an 8’ bed.

Only the largest of the three F150 bed sizes is 8’ long. So most F150s would require the tailgate to be down to fit a 4x8 sheet of plywood just like the Cybertruck here. A RAM 1500 has two bed sizes, 5’7" or 6’4" bed. The newest Subaru Baja only has a 4’6" bed.

I once tied that same load to the roof of my subi just for funsies. The fact that there’s another board on the ground leads me to assume they eventually gave up and placed a strap for a photo.

Bikes may not have a flatbed but I think some can tow more than the Swasticar.

In my city there’s a moving company that moves sofas and refrigerators using bike trailers.

My wife’s Sienna can do all that and keep it dry while it goes through a car wash. Plus it was like 50k cheaper and seldom gets spray-painted.
