Am I the only one that felt like DK didn’t really feet right? The game looked good, but to me he stood out like a saw thumb even in the Mario Kart trailer. haha maybe I’m just an old man now but its odd because the link and Mario re designs have always been fine for me.

Donkey Kong Country’s Donkey Kong wasn’t actually the Donkey Kong from Donkey Kong. I kinda hope this redesign is gonna be justified by saying he’s a third one.
The donkey kong wer’e all familiar with is the third one. DK 1/Cranky is from Donkey Kong (the one with Jumpman/Mario). DK jr from Donkey Kong Jr. DK III is from Country onwards
I don’t count Jr because he has a Jr in his name. The other two are just Donkey Kong.
