For this Wednesday Super Slop Night, first up is Thirst (2009), a vampire thriller from renowned Korean sometimes-arty-sometimes-trashy auteur Park Chan-wook, the director behind Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance (2002), Oldboy (2003), and The Handmaiden (2016), among others. A priest accidentally contracts vampirism after being a medicinal test subject, and then finds himself pining for his friend’s wife. How will he square his love of Jesus with his love of blood? Conflict ensues. Good reviews for this, so let’s give it a whirl.

Next is White Chicks (2004), a comedy about a pair of black male cops (Shawn Wayans and Marlon Wayans) who decide to go undercover as a pair of white female university students. Imagine all the hilarious antics that result from that premise. Although this film initially received terrible reviews, it has accrued a cult following in recent years. Director is Keenen Ivory Wayans, the guy behind, uhh, Scary Movie (2000).
