If you look at nearly all reviews of handheld gaming PCs that run Windows, the major problem is Windows itself. So with Valve opening up the door to SteamOS Linux for more devices, it seems HP are interested in jumping in too.
They don’t always suck, just usually. The HP Reverb 2 was a pretty good VR headset for the price. I felt like I got my money’s worth out of it without any significant issues.
I have two Samsung monitors. Both purchased about 10 years apart. The only Samsung displays I’ve ever purchased. Both have dead fucking pixels. I’ll never willingly purchase a Samsung display, monitor or TV, again.
Samsung is also a pretty shit company to be fair - look at the shenanigans they pull with adverts in their smart TVs for one. Sad fact is that most companies are at least 80% shit! Even the ones that are alright are prone to quickly enshitify overnight.

I have an HP monitor that is good quality, prefer it over the Samsung one I have
