You don’t think the vast majority are going to consciously object? We both have so many friends and family on both sides, i doubt they’d ever even leave their bases.
During the election cycle he said “I want generals like Hitler’s generals” because in his previous administration all his military officials expressed too many concerns about his decisions.
At this point I don’t know that the people that would say no are even still there. He’s purging the government of dissidents. We have to prepare for the possibility that they will go through with it.

One soldier is one to many, but there will be many who do follow the orders. Likely more who would not.
