Ines, and her mother Ramona, live on Ganymede. A lovely and thriving colony that has a bright future ahead of it. Ines looks forward to school break, and Ramona looks forward to a new job.

However, for reasons Ines doesn’t understand, things are changing. People are scared, supermarkets are emptied, and no one will tell Ines what is going on. Everybody says that it’s okay, that she doesn’t have to worry about it. Her friends think it’s fine; their parents have told them the same things.

But then the Old Worlders come, and Ramona can’t keep the truth from her daughter any longer.
