This is the entire problem with all OTS ebikes imo. For basically any given price point, you get cheaper components and a more expensive, proprietary battery compared to a DiY build. It’s a lot of money to save yourself maybe two hours of turning a wrench.
I’d like one, but for $3,300 I’d expect a better transmission than an Alfine, that seems like Rolhoff territory.
