Summary

Arab leaders endorsed Egypt’s counterproposal to Trump’s Gaza plan, rejecting his call to depopulate and redevelop the territory.

Egypt’s $53 billion plan aims to rebuild Gaza by 2030 while preserving its Palestinian population. It includes temporary housing, infrastructure projects, and a phased political transition away from Hamas.

Trump’s resettlement idea was widely condemned, though Israel embraced it.

Egypt seeks to align reconstruction with a two-state solution. Meanwhile, Jordan has begun treating wounded Gazan children, and Israel’s offensive has devastated Gaza, killing over 48,000 people and displacing most of the population.

Alternative title: Shill arab states submit alternate proposal to avoid having to be forced to take care of refugees.

Sisi by himself tells you all you need to know about this plan.

    EDIT:

Under the plan, Hamas would cede power to an interim administration of political independents until a reformed Palestinian Authority can assume control. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, head of the Western-backed authority and an opponent of Hamas, was attending the summit.

Clown behavior. None of these oil rich states would pay for this either, they don’t even spend money on their own abused foreign imported labor.

Funny thing, given USAs current state as a rabid axis initiate that’s frothing from the mouth, what Egypt and the Arab states propose seems reasonable, and something that can be built upon.
