A lot of people that voted for Bernie back in the day voted for Trump and then AOC down ballot in 24.

The far left cannot fathom people making those choices or existing at all it seems. But they really do.

Milquetoast liberals are about as much in denial about this as the hard left socialists, maybe even more so.

I definitely feel the denial rates on this particular topic lessen the more towards center you get, but I get your point.

          Oh ok…

That’s saying more people voted her and trump in 2024 than voted her and trump in 2020.

Not what you claimed it said.

That number includes people who voted Republican up and down ballot in 2020 just as much as it includes people who voted D for both in 2020.

So now you think every Bernie supporter was a Democrat before 2016?

The connective tissue from Trump to Sanders is something akin to populism — the ruling class sucks — and that rhetoric plays well among a certain class of people who don’t feel the government works for them,” said Joshua Dyck, a political science professor at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

“The politics of anti-elite grievance is not just popular in the United States and it’s not just popular on the right,” he said. “It is the story of politics right now.”

You’re doing a great job of illustrating how progressive policy is popular with voters regardless of party tho, so by all means keep going…

Are you just doing that thing where people assume an article supports them but didn’t take the time to read it?

Speaking of, here’s the link in case you delete it:

Just keep on making assumptions about me. So far you’ve been wrong every single time lol.

I read both the articles before I sent them. I never delete comments or posts. I’m not a Republican. You got any other shit takes you wanna make about me?

Well, do you understand them now?

Because it doesn’t really seem like it’s sunk in…

I don’t think you even understand what argument you have been trying to make since the start. YOU came into the thread saying something I said was bullshit.

I sent you proof it wasn’t two different times and you decided to just change what the argument was from the start.

Your first comment in this thread was calling into question my claim that ex Bernie supporters voted for Trump and AOC.

I sent you two different articles talking out the topic with data that backs up what I said that those people DO exist despite the left being largely in denial about it.

Hell there’s a fuckin wiki article talking about the Bernie—>Trump voters for the 2016 and 2020 elections: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sanders–Trump_voters

I don’t know what your malfunction is, but I think I’m all good on explaining the same thing to you over and over.

                    Have a good day.
