After last year's defeat, Wiener will announce the reintroduction of a bill that will allow the police to enforce street vending regulations.

The bill walks back SB 946, which in 2018 decriminalized street vending across the state. The legislation was crafted by Los Angeles legislators to protect street vendors from police harassment.
