Ran into a similar but slightly different debate the other day, about self-defeatism. Had to explain that non-violent showings of force (protests, words, legislation etc) do work for both sides.

Jury nullification is a tool. It isn’t good or bad. It can be used by either side. Yeah, using it to protect Trump is bad, but this case would be good I think.
A knife can be used to murder people, but I still want people to know how to use one properly. Just because it can be used to cause great harm doesn’t mean there isn’t a good and valid use.

Your take is woefully lacking in context. Sometimes the same action is justified in s different scenario. Cutting someone open is usually bad, but when a surgeon does it in a hospital it’s usually okay!
