I prefer spicy pickles. There was a booth at a weekly market in Rotterdam called “spice girl” who sold pickled gherkins with a habanero in the jar. Wonderful. Sadly they have moved online.
The tiny, crunchy sweet snacking pickles are honestly good. Just by themselves, not on anything.
Cornichons? If so, yeah, those are my favorite. All other sweet pickles (by themselves) are an abomination.
